A parent's perspective
"Helping dyslexic students requires an extraordinary mix of patience, persistence and innovation. Ann Grove is the rare educator who possesses all of these skills. When she began working with my daughter at age 8, she encountered a bright but discouraged girl who was sadly resigned to being a "failure" with reading. Now, two years later, my daughter is thriving in school thanks to the reading strategies she developed working with Ms. Grove. It was a great relief to connect with someone who instantly clicked with my daughter, and truly understood her frustration. Using proven methods, positive reinforcement and constant encouragement, Ms. Grove was able to reshape my daughter's outlook on reading." (Sarah M., Fort Worth)
